Partnership working

driving service excellence
and innovation with you

StartScotland is an established provider of locally tailored services, committed to supporting people to maximise their potential – and strong partnerships are key to achieving this.

Being part of our trusted partner network opens up opportunities to deliver national programmes, and opportunities which may be difficult to access as individual organisations.

We work across various funding streams, allowing ourselves and our partners to pool resources to enhance positive outcomes for our programme beneficiaries.

Current opportunities

Fedcap Employment are planning to bid as a prime for the Refugee Employability Programme (REP),commissioned by the Home Office in England across Lot areas; North East, London, South East, South West and North West.

The REP will deliver across three pillars of activity: employment support, English language support and integration support. Delivery is expected to commence in summer of 2023 for an initial period of 2 years with an optional extension period for two (2) years on a one (1) year + one (1) year basis.

The REP aims to enhance support already provided to refugees to help them integrate and become self-sufficient quickly including:

  • Supporting refugees into sustainable employment or, self-employment, tailored to the individual refugee’s needs & skills

  • Supporting a holistic approach through partnership working, aligning with existing local services to ensure a joined-up package of support for each refugee.

  • Supporting those assessed as needing additional support in addition to mainstream services such as DWP Job Centre Plus (JCP) Network and the DfE Adult Education Budget (i.e., they would not be able to progress to self-sufficiency with mainstream support alone).

We are looking to partner with end-to-end organisation(s) who can deliver a tailored and flexible employment support arrangement to refugees arriving to help accelerate their progress as they adjust to life in England. We are also looking to partner with specialist organisation(s) who can deliver provision/interventions to support refugees in their journey (e.g., ESOL, English language for the workplace, digital literacy, skills training…).
